Stock Split

When a company divides existing shares into multiple shares, reducing the price per share proportionally without changing total market cap. Improves liquidity and retail participation.

Example

MRF at ₹1,20,000/share does a 10:1 split → 10 shares at ₹12,000 each. Same total value, better tradability.
