NAV

Net Asset Value — the per-unit market value of a mutual fund. Calculated daily as (Total Assets − Liabilities) / Number of Units.

Formula

NAV = (Total Assets − Liabilities) / Total Units

Example

If a fund has assets worth ₹1,000 Cr and 10 Cr units outstanding, NAV = ₹100/unit.
